Slip of the tongue

The slip of the tongue is the fault of the mind!!!!... do u agree???
But i think that those who utter that are so unkind!!!... but who cares whether am being unkind or not... its my blog and some of these things are very very funny.... have fun!!!!
Now as you all have read i live in hostel and we arent allowed to bunk classes and sit in the sick room unless of course you are really sick... (what a surprise!!!).. anyways so we all fake a sickness sometime or the other!!!... anyways i once faked a bad headache.. (thats when i realized that i could act!!! he he he).. another time a friend of mine faked a ad stomach upset!!!!... after class in the evening the doctor/nurse.... whatever calls for her... so she gets scared and asks what she is supposed to have done about her stomach upset.... so we tell her that one would generally take a lomotil pill... she smiles feeling very confidant and wholly believing that she was cured by this magic pill she charges down and as guessed the doctor/nurse asks her how she s feeling... she says that she s much better now ... when the doc/nurse asked her if sh had aken some medicine.. she very promptly and confidently says.............. "LOCOMOTION"....... now thats what i call a slip of the tongue!!!!... watch out for more of these!!!... he he he

Astray!

sometimes you just get so inspired that u even surprise yourself and start writing poems or songs or something that seems like it... basically some rhyming thing that you would like to call a song or a poem!!!
here goes!... this is a song i wrote when a friend of mine passed away by a hit and run accident on the ECR chennai!.. it got me thinking and here it is!!!!

It must have been hard for her that day
To ever feel the same again.
her life had changed so much
by God s magical touch,
and in her arms there lay
a bundle of joy as she d always say!

she loved him,
she would die for him,
she d always do so much for him,
that she d never have to see the day
when he would go astray!

It must have been hard for her that day
as he toddled along to school
a milestone set up there,
and tears of joy and care
a lecture on the way,
of things he must not do and must not say

she loved him,
she would die for him,
she d always do so much for him,
that she d never have to see the day
when he would go astray!

It must have been hard for her that day,
as drove up to school alone,
to watch him graduate,
then go out on a date.
The sky was turning grey,
as he didnt return that night or next day!

she loved him,
she would die for him,
she d always do so much for him,
that she d never have to see the day
when he would go astray!

It must have been hard for her that day
when they told her what had gone wrong
to listen and stay calm.
Grasped in her sweaty palm,
a picture of him lay,
before he changed his life and went astray!

she loved him,
she would die for him,
she d always do so much for him,
that she d never have to see the day
when he would go astray!

One Late night in hostel

Well considering this is my first post i figured it should be something funny because thats just what i am.. A bag full of laughter and an even bigger bag full of jokes and tricks!!.. Anyways lemme carry on with my story... Now the story begins in main hostel (WCC)... Its my first year and we had just a single common charging point (near the common loo, dont ask why that particular location was chosen!) ... Now charging points are nothing but a plug point where you would stand and charge your mobile phones, and you would have to stand there and wait for it to charge since otherwise it would be whisked away more artfuly than Charles Dickens' famous artful dodger in Oliver Twist!... and you'd have to stand there because sitting was simply not an option considering the charging point was near the loo.. anyhow, there i was standing there very inoccently minding my own business, humming a tune, hopping around (to avoid the mosquitoes) when my super senior Sue shows up and starts huming along with me, within minutes we attract a few others with a ear for music and from humming we have moved on to full fledged singing and we are in that particularly shrill and high pitched part of the tamil song "Puthu velai mazhai". Now i have failed to mention that it was 1:00 am and as per the rules (which no one really follows) you're s'posed to be in bed by 11, lights off!... so big deal right...who cares?... a couple of whackos singing in the night... happens alot you would think... and rightly so... since it does!!!... but unfortunately, that night, our dear warden, whom i do actualy like now after three solid years there, was apparently in a bad mood at the time (as though we knew!!!)... she stands at the balcony of her room looking like a carbon copy of that bhoot in the music video Noorie and is yelling in Tamil (for better effect... scream it to yourself in tamil =) or better yet imagine nagavali (from manichitrathazhu) screaming it in that gutral voice!!! )
"Dai, Yaaru adhu?" (translates: Oi! Who's there?)
all of us shut up immediately! (me and the other first years...two of them... have our eyes wide with fright, we ve barely been in hostel for 3 months now and are quite sure our parents wouldnt approve of us being sent back.... so early!!!!=))
"dai, sollu da, yaaru adhu? (translates: oi! tell me!!!.. who's there?)
Two others and me and that super senior Sue slink back to the wall, the others escape into the bathrooms... Now please note, Sue and me are huge(i mean physicaly) making it next to impossible to stay hidden even while sticking to that wall! so its not long before she spots (only) the two of us and hollers...
..."dai, Merry soo, Agalaya (both of which are not how you pronounce either of our names=))... yenna pandre??.... time yenna aichu???.... yea ipidi wouru maniku phone charge pandre??... Kandipa na principalkittu name kudukurae!! (transalates:oi, Merry soo n agalaya, what are you doing? whats the time? why are you charging your phones like this at 1:00 am? i'll definately give your names in to the principal!)
by now am shitting in my pants and sue s almost rolling over the floor in silent laughter... So as i give sue a very tensed good night, i ask how bad it wil be when the principal reprimands us for our behaviour(at that point of time, thats as bad as i could be... he he he), she simply laughs it of and says " hey, no big deal! just avoid jumping in front of wardens face for a week or so... she ll soon forget all about it!... reassured, i fall asleep that night!
The next day somewhere round about lunchtime we had to head out of safe territory and get lunch... Ok... apparently its not a problem, since the door to the wardens office was a four part door where the bottom could be closed but the top left open!!.. so very smartly, if i may say so, we decide to crawl past her door!!... so there we are two very well and full grown girls crawling on all fours by her office, me leading the way!!... just as we cross the door and we enter suposedly safe territory i see a pair of legs in front of me.. knowing full well they belonged to our very dear warden i look up very shepishly, sue being slightly cleaverer (hmmmmm) pretends to be searching for something... we quickly get pulled up by our ears and get the first shelling i ever did in WCC (but not before taking those thin and slim monkeys, who managed to hide themselves, down with us muahhahahahaha*evil*).... thats hostel and thats life.... and now looking back, i ve enjoyed every bit of it as well!...growing up is fun, i pity poor peter pan who never knew the joys of growing up!
